WELCOME TO MY SITE. This page is intended to educate others on my past endeavors!
I'm Joe LaTorre, Florida native and Satellite Beach resident. Since 1999, I've helped countless others achieve improved mobility using manual therapy and corrective exercise. As a former career long massage therapy instructor, I am a two-time award recipient for teaching excellence (Keiser University), two-time featured educator at the FSMTA National Convention, and member of the world massage festival's massage therapy hall of fame. Since 2017, I have been a professor of exercise science for Concordia University Chicago, specializing in kinesiology. Over the last 25 years, my bodywork methods have been used on elite athletes from around the world, and can be individualized to fit each person's needs. I am experienced in non-invasive bodywork such as Swedish, Geriatric, and Pregnancy massage as well as (PNF) Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. I am experienced in more invasive bodywork such as Deep-Tissue and Sports massage, along with Myofascial Release and Reflexology,
NOTE: I am not running a massage therapy business, and teach bodywork or corrective exercise for educational purposes. I consider myself mostly retired, but maintain an active Florida license [ MA31587 ]. I'm a Florida approved continuing education provider (license: 50-15123), NCBTMB approved CEU provider, and NASM corrective exercise specialist.

CONSULTATIONS + APPOINTMENTS: The best way to reach me for your free consultation is by email: [email protected]
Following a brief phone call, I will consider scheduling an in-person visit to conduct a movement assessment. Here, I can advise on how "I would personally proceed" with receiving bodywork or corrective exercise if I had a similar situation to yours.
CORRECTIVE EXERCISE PLANS: can be land or water based, should require a consultation beforehand, and be designed to improve posture and mobility in helping you in activities of daily living.
